British singer Basheba was a featured artist on the shortlist for MTV's Brand New Unsigned at the start of 2014, and has since been working on the release of her debut album.

With drum & bass, blues, R&B, jungle and gospel influences, she's been championed by the likes of MTV Base, SBTV, Capital Xtra and BBC Radio 1Xtra, and has received offers to collaborate with Rudimental and Lyracis. Basheba, real name Laurie Nicoll, follows the release of her debut single No More with Dirty Love (Your Love) ft Jordan Reece in June 2014, and has plans to delve in to the fashion world when she launches her own clothing brand later in the year.
